The History of Lomography

Lomography is started when a man named Michail Panfilowitsch Panfiloff researching a camera that is gained. Michail is one of the most important figures in Russian LOMO Arms and Optical are the arms factories and optical instruments of the Soviet Union. The camera that caught his attention was the obtainment of General Igor Petrowitsch Kornitzky the people trust the Minister of Defence and Industry of the Soviet Union. The camera is a Cosina CX-1 which originated from Japan. From the results of research conducted in 1982, they finally agreed to emulate and develop the design of these cameras for later produced for the citizens of the Soviet Union. They then use these cameras to take pictures in the city of Prague in a way that is not common. They tried to take pictures as much as possible from an unusual position such as the hips and across the foot. In addition, they also produce a camera that they use and sell at prices cheaper than other cameras. Lomography then started growing rapidly after the two students were heavily promoting Lomography to friends, relatives, family and even people they do not even kenal. Lomography lovers club be formed in Vienna and was named Lomographische Gesellschaft or "Lomography Community". Through this community and various exhibitions Lomografi successfully implemented in large cities such as St. Petersburg, Vienna, Moscow, New York, Berlin, Havana, Zurich, Cologne, Madrid, Cairo and Tokyo.
Because at least supply Lomo camera at the time, then Fiegl and Stranzinger visit LOMO factory in St.. Petersburg. They later managed to convince the head and deputy mayor of St. factory. Petersburg at that time that Vladimir Putin to reproduce the camera Lomo LC-A in large numbers.
