What is Lomography?

Lomografi is a part of analog photography that uses a special camera called LOMO camera. LOMO it self is an abbreviation of Leningradskoye Optiko-Mechanichesckoye Obyedinenie (Leningrad Optical Mechanical Merger). The name of a lens factory located in St. Petersburg, Russia. The plant will produce lenses for health equipment such as a microscope lens, the tools of weaponry, and the camera lens. In Austria, the factory became the inspiration for a commercial trademark for products related to photography. Trademarks are named Lomographische AG. Lomografi still using film cameras roll, so-called analog photography while modern photography is already using digital technologies in image capture and processing. People who like Lomografi and who likes to take pictures using the camera LOMO referred to as "lomographer".

Though often referred to as a toy camera, the term is somewhat misleading, as the Diana is fully capable of taking actual photographs. The term “toy camera” is often used to denote a very simple camera, and includes various basic vintage cameras as well. It is widely considered as an ideological predecessor of the 1980s Holga. Dianas are said to have a 50 % chance of light leaks & other photographic “problems,” which give such “flawed” photos made by the camera an individualistic character.

Baby Holga is the smallest, cutest and most handy camera i ever know.

Also known as Micro, Mini or Spy Holga, these cameras are made in China (as where the Holga originated) with a length of 3 inches and with a width and height of 1 inch. Every purchase comes with a black string that can easily be replaced with any chain. It only uses 110 film with either a 12 or 24 shot cartridge. These kinds of films are cheaper than the ordinary however are not that easily accessible because its not usually available to photo stores.

What makes this different from the Big Holga, even if they are both made in plastic,is that it wont produce vignettes nor would it have the much awaited light leaks. But i think the beautiful sprockets can compensate that. This Mini holga if used when the sun is up, can produce magnificent lens flare.
